Where do you call home?
I'm based in Arco, North Italy, on the north side of Garda Lake and at the foot of Dolomites.

Tell us a bit about these selection of shots.
This selection of photos represent what for me is the right dimension to live cycling, without limitations, only feelings and always looking for new adventures. Each photo is a shot of what I experienced during my routes, looking around I try to enjoy as much as possible.
How did your love of photography and cycling come together?
Capturing my bike rides was a result of my passion for cycling and especially the area where I live. This definitely has combined the two things, new landscapes and for me still hiding have ignited the passion for photography, where I try to focus on the nature and landscapes rather than on the details.
What’s the lowdown on your kit - bike and camera?
Living in a mountain area with many climbs with little plain, a few years ago i had to switch to a road bike, coming from a period where I rode only with fixed gear, both climbs and descends, is great fun to test yourself with only one gear brakeless on climbs with slopes in double figures. Of course, to fully enjoy what my territory offers, road bike was a requirement, as the MTB that takes me in wild and unspoiled places. To capture my rides i use my iPhone5 and a GoPro hero3 .
How do you carry your camera while riding?
Fortunately the GoPro is very compact and it fits perfect in the back pocket of the jersey. It has a waterproof and indestructible case so it's really comfortable to take out while i'm riding.
Coffee or beer after your ride?
Beer absolutely. It's the right reward after a long ride and relaxes you while think back to the things seen.Espresso coffee is good to start the ride, as we italians usually do.
Waxing or shaving?
Shaving, as taught by the good old school.
Garmin or no Garmin? Do you use apps to record your ride?
Using the Garmin to track my routes and have the main data as accurate as possible, such as altitude and kilometers traveled. Then load the gps on Strava where I like watch the map and to have an online archive of my routes.
Which adventure have you set your sights on next?
The first of May, the Rando Imperator, 335km from München to Bozen, a randonnée along the ancient Via Claudio Augusta, once the trade road of the Roman Empire through Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy. It's gonna be awesome!
